Arizmendi has quickly become a neighborhood fave. 1. From their sourdough bread to their scones to their pizzas, Arizmendi knows how to make it all tasty and taste homemade. 2. We especially love their daily pizzas, which I believe are all vegetarian. You can get a slice, half pie, a whole, light baked or hot. You really have all the options. For a quick meal, we like getting the light bake pizzas to reheat at home. 3. Their scone of the day is my favorite thing. I love that it changes daily. The exterior of the scone has a crunch, while the inside is soft and moist. If they have the strawberry chocolate scone, get it. 4. Their website is updated everyday so customers know what to expect and when they can expect it. I really appreciate this effort.

This is one of the most consistent sourdough baguettes in the inner sunset district. Their baguettes are wonderfully soft on the inside and chewy crust. Be forewarned, the baguettes run out fast, so get there early or you will miss out otherwise you will have to wait another day. It's so good that a friend's daughter which we refer as "rubber teeth" whose too lazy to chew on harder foods loves this baguette in spite of having to actually use her jaw muscles to have to chew go figure.

I finally got to try this place after hearing so much about it. I preordered what I wanted the night before and all I had to do was walk in and pick up my order. Here's what I got with the ratings Cherry corn scone 3/5 - a little in the dry side Currant scone 4/5 - this scone was better and was more moist Cheese roll - 4/5 its better if you reheat this. It will pack more flavor that way. Almond croissant - 5/5packed with a lot of almond paste. I highly recommend this Ricciarelli - 4.5/5 taste like an Italian cookie and it was super soft, just a tad too sweet. Avoid the lines and order online

A neighborhood favorite! There's a steady line out the door on the weekends, which is a good sign. I love that they have daily specials and that they're open late for a bakery. For their breads, English muffins, scones, and cookies, it's self-serve, so you grab a tissue paper to pick what you want and put into a brown paper bag. Their Wednesday special corn cheddar onion loaf is really tasty, especially with those crunchy cheese crisps on the side. It paired so well with tomato soup at home. I also enjoy their light, thin crust, sourdough pizzas. They have one flavor each day (daily menu is on their website), and you can get slices or half/full pizzas - perfect to grab on the way to picnic at Golden Gate Park. I'm rarely a vegetarian pizza type of person, but I have no problem with no meat with Arizmendi's. The broccoli with roasted garlic and thyme oil pizza and mushroom with sesame ginger garlic vinaigrette pizza were great!

Came here on recommendation from my roommate, and it did not disappoint! The line out the door is a testament to how popular they are. I came to get a slice of pizza -- they're all vegetarian, and the types switch out every day. Ask the staff were so friendly and helpful, it really feels like a neighborhood establishment. I got a mushroom pizza, and wow was it amazing! The size is super generous for how cheap it was, and the ingredients' quality shone through. I took it to go and ate it in Golden Gate Park just a couple of blocks down, and it was the perfect SF afternoon. Can't wait to come back to try more things!

There are many bakeries around San Francisco. Usually, when there is more than one location of the same bakery it means it's probably good but the quality may be different from store to store. What's even better is that both of the locations are in my favorite neighborhoods in San Francisco. My go-to bakery over the years is Arizmendi in the Inner Sunset when I am not in the Mission. Although they have a location on Valencia Street, I tend to gravitate to the Inner Sunset location because of the atmosphere ( near Golden Gate Park) . The baked goods here are so fresh and delicious. I like their Challah bread and brownies. I come here for the seasonal delicious pumpkin cheesecake with Sierra Nevada Cream Cheese and a house-made shortbread crust. I usually come here to check on the different types of pizza they offer daily. The pizza is fresh, not drowned in sauce, not cheesy, and it's tasty. The pizza is more on the gourmet side. My personal favorite item here is the shortbread. It's a little savory and a little sweet but not too sweet. I like the fact that Arizmendi has a worker-owned cooperative business model which takes it's namesake and inspiration from a Founder of worker cooperatives in Spain. Bakeries come and go in San Francisco and some try to be trendy The bakery with consistency, quality and value that stood the test of time in San Francisco is Arizmendi

Wow wow wow. We stopped by on the weekend to try their famous pizza. It blew my mind. Their flavors are super unique -- we had some mushrooms and sesame ginger dressing. Incredible. The crust was perfectly chewy and well cooked. The flavor was like an explosion and so very fresh. The portions are massive. I simply cannot say enough complimentary things for the pizza!! The line is somewhat long but it moves quickly. You can also pick up other bakery items. The mint chocolate chip cookie is really good. I love the ooey chocolate and bright mint flavoring. The scones are also so soft and buttery. Everything here is a yes. Do yourself a favor and stop by.

The perfect bakery to swing by for a breakfast or afternoon treat to enjoy at home or Golden Gate Park. Staff is very friendly! There's always a line during peak hours, but don't be let this turn you around. The line moves quickly. I love the focaccias they offer. I usually opt for the specials they display by the register. Various pastries are available that you'll be able to find one that's appealing to you. Also recommend trying one of their cookies!

I'm all about their Fresh focaccia bread, scones, pecan rolls, coffee cake , & cookies. Will be back to try their pizza & holiday baked treats. Outdoor seating only but there's a large parklet outside. P.s. highly recommended you ask them to heat your pastry if your eating it immediately

Just like the original store in Berkeley, Arizmendi is a cooperative where workers are also co-owners. I think their cookies are the stars. The chocolate cake is also decadent. The best deal is their pizza slice of the day! I got two of the pizza slices (spinach, red onion, feta and balsamic vinegar and fresh basil). Also I couldn't pass on getting a couple of cookies and a scone. A quick bite of each baked good and found them to be delicious! There wasn't a line when I showed up mid afternoon. Weekends expect to wait a bit!
